Our story
FemtechMall was born out of a real-life challenge our founder Mercy Akachukwu Fred-Ekhose experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic: As a Technical Software Project Manager, she was balancing a fast-paced tech career with the need to shop for essential household items without exposure to health risks or the stress of navigating multiple vendors, stores & market
Additionally, as a digital product leader, one significant gap in Nigeria and Africa she identified was the lack of a digital e-commerce infrastructure — home-grown SaaS platforms tailored for Nigerian & African online retail businesses. FemTech Mall & Solutions Ltd is solving both problems with a technology-first approach.
